Finding A Job
The thing I have heard the most when I talk to people who have just graduated from a course for medical transcription is that no one will hire them.
I was very fortunate that when I was looking for a job 6 years ago that I got one immediately after passing my final exam for medical transcription.
We want to find medical transcriptionists out there that can help with letting others know if their company is hiring or if they know of a company that is willing to hire new graduates.
If you have a few years of medical transcription behind you, I do not believe that you will ever have trouble finding employment.
Not too long ago I came across a Web site called transcription matchmaker and though I have not tried getting a job through the site, it looks like an excellent resource for someone looking for a job. It sounds like a headhunter-type business where you tell them what you are looking for and whatever other information they need to know, and they will look for an employer that fits you.
If you are looking for a job or trying to find a job that you enjoy more than the one you have now, let somebody know so we can put feelers out for who is hiring and who is not.
