Will I be able to use the Medical Transcription Help Desk website without getting a membership?

Everything you can access on the website is free.  We have additional benefits in the membership for MTs who want to further their career. 

If I just try the membership for a month and I decide I don’t want to continue it, am I committed to longer than that first month?

No.  If you want to join and decide it is not something you want to continue with, you can cancel membership.

If I join the membership for a month and take advantage of the resume writing service to get a new resume written and then unsubscribe, is that okay?

Yes, you can do that if that is all you want from it.  It actually is a very good price to get a resume written from start to finish compared to resume services that charge.  Whatever works for you.  

Can I get my money back after the first month if I want to cancel my membership at that point?

No.  There is a wealth of information on all types of subjects once you get a membership, so unfortunately we are not able to give any money back if you cancel after the first month.  I can assure you it will be well worth your money.

What kinds of questions can I ask in the Question and Answer box you talk about?

Absolutely anything having to do with medical transcription.

Are real Medical Transcriptionists answering these questions?

Yes, right now there are only 3 of us that are monitoring the site at different times.  Hopefully, as time goes on we will have several more.

What if I use something from this site and I find out it is incorrect or I get counted off at my job for it?

We will make every effort to give accurate information, but the disclaimer that must be included on websites does indicate we cannot be held responsible for unintentional errors.

If I want to put an article on the site, can I do it?

Yes, let us know if you would like to submit a post/article to go on the blog.  I know if it is something that interests you, it will interest others.

Is there a limit to how many people I can refer to the membership that sign up for $5?

No limit.
